My 95 Cavalier when you start it runs fine for about 30 seconds that it starts studdering sounding like its choking and will occasionally stall. When I try driving the car jumps and the rpm gauge jumps between 300-1500rpm. If i try to floor it i hear the engine misfire. Its the Number 4 cylinder. If i rev up to around 2000rpm than pop it into drive The car moves fine but if i depress the accelerator any more than 1/4 of the way it starts choking and misfiring again. The plugs and wires were just changed twice to see if they were the problem. The Coil packs are less than a year old, the fuel pump is less than a year old, the o2 sensor was just changed any ideas?
is it a Z 2 4? if so my z24 had a bad misfiring issue. Ended up being a clogged injector for cylinder 3. got them cleaned out and flow tested. ran perfect after
