hey just wondering if anyone knows of any definate problems i will run in to on a 95 sunfire and putting a 2000 sunfire engine becides the fuel lines. thanks

Make sure u get all cooling accessories, such as hoses and pipe that runs acroos the front of the car, the water flows opposite direction in these two motors.
yeah i noticed that but the junkyard left most things on it.. anything else?
Well seeing as your 95 does not have a 2200, but a 2.2, and you are tryingt o put a 2200 in it a few things. The coolant lines are not a issue. The motor you just got does it have a wiring harness with it?

yes.. well it was cut. the only things i noticed was that was different and that needed soldering was the injectors. they fire 1 and 4 then 2 and 3 on the 95. the 2200 are sequential. and the map sensor plug is different and the coolent temp is on the wrong side. but i soldered the nessecery things. so idk. can i use the crank sensor from the 95 on the 2200 because its a 3 plug on the 2200 and a 2 plug on the 95. also there is what i think is a cam sensor on the 2200 and not one on my 95 but ill just not plug it in lol. and will i have a problem because it does not have an egr on the 2200? thanks guys.

well its runs and drives good. but when it gets to operating temp the cel goes on. could it be that it is looking for an egr because my 2.2 had one and the 2200 does not. also anyone know how to run the codes on a obd 1 that has an obd 2 connector under the dash? the scan tool wont link. thanks guys.
