ok next question, i have the little silver and caps, that screw onto the other side of the shock.. not sure if they attatch on the OUTSIDE of that bottom bracket.. or the inside.. cause if its on the out side, the shock wont compress.. if its on the outside the shock might pop out of the hinge?
well.....you wouldnt want the cotter pin on the other side. looks good to me.
So i figured out why adam (Kenwood) was having such a problem...
Pin on lambo hinge a (Drivers side) is bent..
Is missing a washer/spacer..
That looks like the one on lambo hinge b (passenger side)
Kit installed no shock
Door fits like a glove..
Hinge with shock..
door fits like ****
so what i have to do is punch out the bent pin, add a spacer.. replace with a new pin, re-tap shock holder/hole.. (Stripped)
as you can see..
and order weaker shocks.. 650 is way too strong.
but here's the car blind..
and now (im running the hinge still, without a shock.) door opens normally like stock cause i have the stopper off the hinge.
But still opens lambo if i lift it..
