Fuel Pump?

When I went to start my car after lunch today everything was ok. I drove a few blocks and then all of a sudden my car starts to die. it will turn over but dies a few seconds later. Im thinking its my fuel pump. I checked the fuse and relay and they are both good.

hmmm, I had mine go out a while back. Try turning over your key, but not cranking your engine and get beside your fuel tank and listen for a whining noise for it to come on, if it sounds faint or weak, maybe you should get it checked out... It could also be the fuel filter... CHeck it as well, but good luck getting it off... I dont reccomend it, but if it comes to it, start your engine and see if it will run on starting fluid. If it does, then it is for certain a fuel issue. Spray the ether in the intake, start the engine, and keep srpaying it to see if it runs longer than with gas. My fuel pump went out after I ran my tank dry, and kept trying go drive with no fuel... I hope this helps...

Next time it dies, give the tank a couple of hits with your fist. Try starting it and see if it runs longer/better. If it does, you prob need a pump.

If it is your fuel pump and you're wanting to change it out yourself to save some money, here is a how-to I did on changing out the fuel pump.
It's pretty easy once you know how and this should help you save a couple of hundred bucks on the installation of the pump.
Heck, the pump will cost you enough to purchase so doing it yourself will save you even more.
Good luck with it and yeah, it sounds like your fuel pump could be dying.

start with the filter. youre going to want to change it even if its the pump thats bad. Also check around your injectors and FPR to see if there is any fuel leaking.
