fuel filter adapter

hey all, I am trying to replace my fuel filter, and I have bent the quick disconnect quite badly. I dont have a new filter yet, so I am kinda lost on what comes with it. This is due to me not have a car to get to the parts store. I am wondering if the new filter comes with a new disconnect or if I can buy a replacement. It leaks pretty badly, so I need a new one without a doubt. Or can I buy an adapter to plug a filter into the line by splicing into it somehow. Can someone point me in the right direction with this? And please, if you have goofed up like I have before in the past, let me know what you did to fix it. Thank you all!

thanks alot man. can u just use the stock fuel line and clamp it? Or do you think it would leak? It seems to be pretty hard, so I am worried that a clamp wont be strong enough. I will give it a shot anyway...
