Was wondering if anyone has experience with these codes?
Cleared them both and only the P0342 came back
Apparently they are 341 Knock Sensor Performance
342 Knock sensor low voltage
I changed out the Knock Sensor with a spare one and the P0342 keeps coming back
This is on my 98 Z 5 spd
Ok well I just looked in HPT under my 01 Z24 file and only found P0341. Camshaft position sensor performance. I do not see a P0342.

I found the 342 on here in the list
The 341 code never came back just the 342 code

I will look at your file I have later, but my file does not have the Po342, which means it can not throw it.

Ok, I have looked at a 97 and a 99 file both have it. Po342 is " Camshaft Position Sensor Ciruit low input". It appears in 2000 this code is not in the ECU anymore. Still it si a camshaft sensor issue.

New winter toy 1998 Z24
As always my on going project 1983 Z28
How is the vehicle running?
I'd start by getting a wiring diagram and tracing some wires down.
Do you have a scanner that can scope the sensor, MODIS, VERUS, etc.
