Hello Everyone, I've got a '96 sunfire with 145K miles on it. Lately, when I attempt to start the vehicle, it will start and then immediately die. If I pump the gas pedal just before it dies, it will sometimes catch and continue to run, but most of the time it just dies. I've got a strong battery, new plugs, and 1/2 tank of gas. Any ideas on what may be causing my car to die?
maybe fuel filter or the pump, or more likely the FPR (fuel pressure regulater) not %100 but ide guess that, no idea untill it is looked at

dude sounds to me like you have a vacuum problem....check your intake system if your MAF is not plugged in that could be a result of stalling but if thats not the case it still sounds like some sort of vacuum issue
