LD9 idles and dies?

Hello again :p

So I have another issue I forgot to mention in the last time, but sometimes (very rarely) I will park my car for a minute to go inside a store, or something, and when I come back everything seems fine. However, I will sit there for a minute before I get moving, and I can see my RPM gauge bouncing around under 1k, and then it dies. I will start it, let it sit for a second, and it dies. Okay, so I try and get going, hold the gas to pull up to the parking lot exit, and as soon as I let off the gas it dies. Finally I get going on the freeway and all is well, and it hasn't happened since. What could this equate to? It only happens very rarely, and only after the engine is fully warmed or hot from getting on it. Anyone else have this problem?

btw, the AC at this point is off, because the windows are down

well I have a 2001 sunfire GT that is completely stock, I have done nothing to it except upgrading the battery to an optima red-top, so that is definitely not the problem. I have stock speakers even (ugh) the only thing I've done to it is replace the HU.

This sounds like the same sort of problem im having right now. It doesnt throw a C.E.L and is intermitant so im having troubles finding out whats going on. Can anyone shed some light on this situation? I have been told it could be the computer, is this true????

Just to do another update to this, it just did it to me again today, except not so "in a parking lot" and rather, on a highway in traffic. It starts to sputter, and then dies. I try and turn it over with the starter, and it doesn't want to seem to catch, so I let out the clutch so that the wheels spin the engine over, and it catches fine, but it doesn't want to add fuel to the engine.
So I pull over to see just what the hell is going on, and I try and start it, woo it works!.... not. It stays on for about 0.5 seconds, and then sputters and dies. I am starting to think it is the fuel injectors overheating, or possibly the fuel pump being over worked.

I don't really want to throw money at a whole new fuel system and realize that that isn't really the problem. I know its not overheating the engine, because I have had the engine at a much higher temperature than this autoXing, and it doesn't have this issue.
