How can I tell if I have 200mm drum brakes or 225mm?

I just bought a 97 Cavalier...(base model or RS, I'm not sure. Is there a difference? If so, how can I tell? And what's the difference?)

It needs new drums and shoes, but I'm not sure if it has 200mm drums or 225mm. Is there a way to find out? Are the sizes intechangeable as long as you match the drum and shoe sizes?

Thanks in advance,
Jad

I have the base model, and I found if I got the drum shoes for the LS it was a match.
As for the actually sizing, I guess you could take the pads in with you and check the size there.

You have the smaller ones, I believe it was in 03 they went bigger.

03+ has the 225mm. different shoe setup entirely. 02 and older (at least 3rd Gens) are 200mm.
