Well, this time its the GT that needs some attention. If just started doing in 3 days ago...same time it got ungodly warm too. I was just idling in the Wal-Mart parking lot and it died after sitting for about 15 minutes.
Then today we were out looking at other options for a vehicle or something easier to travel with. If you would see how Julia packs for a weekend you'd know what I mean. Just ask Matt and Jenny lol. So we stopped to look at a van, got back in, put it in drive, and moved about 10 feet then...it shut off! Can you say irony?
We tried restarting it, but it started, never got to the idle (dieseled)and then died about 5 seconds later. Since we couldn't do anything but wait we talked to the salesman. About 30 minutes of leading him on we parted ways. Went to the car with our fingers crossed that we could leave and bada bing! It fired right up. I'M SO CONFUSED!
Anyone have an idea?
.. fuel pumps on the cavys are an often problem. theres a few complaints trying to get a recall on them.. they like to go around 50,000 miles..
- Check the profile for all mod's. It's up2date!
my fuel pump is still original from 2000, probably has 150,000 miles on it

This is what I was thinking too since the one on my Eco SE went about 65k and that's where the GT is at. I'll replace that and the filter while I'm down there. Thanks!
Changed the pump and filter. Everything was okay for a week and then it did it again. That time I changed the ICU and coil pack (both from the SE which has a blown motor), but it happened again! Any more ideas?
