My only question is which piece am I removing to access the plugs? Do I remove the bolts from the engine mount/cover, or the plastic piece infront which has the intake airflow tubing attached? I cannot locate the spark wires, that's why i'm asking

The spark plugs are underneith the IDI cover. undo the 4 bolts and pull up on the cover. You will find there under there.
Which is the IDI cover? The metal or plastic covering?

no plug wires its got coil packs if u have the 2.4 its under the cover that says 2.4 held in by 4 bolts just unbolt n lift up n there they are all four plugs they may have boots on them they just come off. easy ten min job
