Flasher relay
Monday, April 18, 2005 10:31 AM
Hey, I have a 2002 Z24 and i believe my flasher relay has gone bad or is going bad since my left(driver) rear turn signal intermittenly doesnt blink causing the front to blink rapidly. I have already changed the bulb and switch the pass. and driver side socket and it still doesnt work. I am just wondering what is the easiest way to get to the relay, other than taking it to the dealer. I know its on the brake pedal bracket. thanks for any help
Jason

I have this same problem! I have changed both bulbs and the brake pedal switch, but the problem is not fixed. Still rapid flashing from front passenger turn signal and no passenger brake light? Do anyone know where I can go to get this check out before I take my car to the dealer? Also, Jason did you find a way to fix the problem?
Thanks for any help

first, to find your flasher, just turn on your hazards (you dont need the key for this) and follow the click. second, to me it sounds more like a bad socket in the rear.

the flasher is kinda hard to find and u will need a flash light, its under the dash on the drivers side, it is on a block that has two relay fuses plugged into it, one is squared and and on round they are way up there close to the side where the door panel, you could just reach your hand up there and pull it, and the flasher is really cheap, like 5 dollars from pep boys

if it can't win a race it better win a show
