So i was driving home tonight and i had to slow down as there was a truck turning around, so i shifted into second but forgot so when i went to accelerate away i didn't give it enough gas and the car jerked a little, anyway so all of a sudden a light flashed up on the dashboard stayed on for like half a second then disappeared, i wasn't to worried because i figured it was just because i was going up hill and the jerking movement caused it but im curious to know what the light is just so i can check it out.
It looked like a low level light for something but im not sure what, I've drawn a small drawing to see if anyone can recognize it.

thats a coolant light, Check your level. It happend to me before i had mine flushed, it was just low enough that when i accelerated heavy, causing the car to shift weight, it set the sensor off. Nothing to really worry about

Ok thanks man, yeah i figured it was probably not to much to worry about
I'd better go check my level when i get a chance to be sure.

Do forget that if you had coolant its 1/2 prestone 1/2 water mix ...... and if you have more than 160 000 km or more than 5 years coolant in your car... you should think about flushing the coolant ... thats the life of the long life coolant
Must be something with the Quad 4. Mine does that under heavy acceleration even if the coolant is at a good level. Goes away after a second or two.
Strange lol, it's the first time its happened to me in my quad 4. Coolant level seems to be good but i suppose it probably got sloshed around quite a bit when i slipped off the clutch haha.
