So i got all the sensors hooked up (i think) and there is no spark. I guess my biggest question is will two v6 coil packs work on my 2200 motor in my 2002 cav.
And if so what else could it be besides coil packs and control module because i put the control module on my car that i know works and still no spark so i found two v6 coil packs and people i talked to said it didnt matter cause they are the same thing anyway and tried them. still nothing
everything else works fine, its getting gas and turns over great but wont fire
please someone help me cause im very desperate right now because the beater car i bought two weeks ago already took a @!#$ and i have no vehicle that works good enough to drive to work
If i cant find out what the problem is very soon if anyone is interested the car is a 2002 2dr cavy wit the 2200 motor w/ automatic tranny. both side skirts are messed up and so is the front bumper. i have a cai, header, polyurethane upper and lower motor mounts electronic shift kit.
the right side side marker is gone but i have a set of black headlights and sidemarkers. the right mirror is gone but i also have a set of black mirrors with LED signal lights.

well for starts did you see if your getting power to the coil pack. also did you check to see the wave forum at the crank poistion sensor because maybe that could be bad
well it may sound stupid but exactly how do i check if im getting power to the coil pack. i know the control module is good because its the one of the motor that came out of my car and it still started before i pulled the motor an put the dif one in. and where do i find the wave forum at the cps
well for starts do you got a volt meter or multimeter?
my bro does i think. idk if its the coil packs or not because idk if the v6 coil packs even work. i would have another set of coil packs but my brother is freakin retarded and gave the ones away that worked to his friend even though he had no right to cause they arent his. wat a bitch right
