ok on a 94 cavalier 2.2 the tcc solenid went bad because so i want to know how would i change it?
Well not being exact on the specifics here is my two cents.I know that the part in ? should have two plug harness (not 100% sure but should be) and I know auto zone and advance auto parts do show pics of the part in the topic. It is a screw in part threaded and it's pretty simple to remove and reinstall and plug the electrical plug in.Both auto stores label this in there trans parts as a solenoid to the best of my knowledge and there is a post in 2nd gens about this.I would HIGHLY recommend u change the trans fluid and filter bc the fluid is TOAST which is what burned up the switch to begin with bc of age and fluid breakdown due to wear and heat.I would not buy the part and repl with out doing the fluid/filter change bc u will fry the new part with old fluid in a short amount of time.Check the 2nd gen forum if u have ?s on this it is there. This will help.
hehe if you dont have money just unplug it for now
it is unpluged now but i want to fix it where can i buy it because the one they show at autozone is not that connector at all.
