A couple of weeks after I got my car turbocharged it started to overheat a lil bit hovering around 215F. The fan would come on in stay on to it got around 205F even if I turned the car off it would still stay on intell it got to around 205F. That was Ok intell a day ago it got to around 235-45F ish and scared the @!#$ out me. I don't see any leaks or anything in that nature so i'm stuck. Help please.

did you try some water wetter that should drop your operating temp by 10 degrees. also dont be so sure as to expect bad gas wattered down gas. i got a bad tank about 2 weeks ago the car ran like $H&t and was runing warm. with gas the price it don't expect gas stations to be honest also with premium the price that it is and the fact alot of cars are leased and don't realy care about there cars. Expect priemium to sit in the storage tanks longer

its an additive that goes into your coolant. ive heard it does what it says. keeps your temperatures a bit cooler. basically just lubes everything better to get better flow. your turbo are you using a coolant feed line too?

if it was you would overheat all the time. when does this usually happen? how many miles are on your motor?

It usually happens when I sit in traffic, my motor only got 63900 miles on it so it shouldn't be doing this.

waz up mike, it could be your kit and your intercooler blockin the air flow to the radiator, i know ever since i put the kit on mine it will over heat when sittin in moco traffic, what you can do is 1) run a pipe or somethin from one of the vents on the front 90* to flow accross the radiator. 2) get watter wetter from autozone or advance auto parts, didnt help me much. 3) hard wire the radiator fan to a switch
instructions here 4) crank the a/c on when u get into traffic so the fans should come on

yeah that could be it. you can also turn your heater on full blast. or get a lower thermo!!!

it could be the IC blocking the radiator but idk about that. i have not noticed any problems what so ever with mine over heating. im using HP Tuners to tune my car and have it set for the fan to come on at 195. and my car rarely gets over 200 or 215 ish. ive heard of water wetter, heard it never works. as for cooler thermostat, not worth it since we already have a good thermostat in there.
99% of the time when you sit in traffic without air moving across the intercooler or radiator every car will heat up until the fan kicks on. once it does its back down to 195. thats the reason i set my fan to come on earlier and run longer.
What about if I change the my mix to a 65/35 (antifreeze/water) mix and add sum "water wetter"?

im not sure if it would work but i think the way the eco works is the fan will kick on when the temp hit like 215-220 or somethin but then it stay on even after u turn the car off. so i would try HPT when u get a chance, i thought ed had it, if now we can hard wire the fan at the next meetin or somethin
