car has developed a new problem.... starts and idles perfect... when cold it even runs good for a little while. when the car is warmed up a little and i try to give it gas it either stumbles or dies. i unpluged the map sensor while she is running and at first it seemed fine just ran a little rough. however is still wants to die or stumble some times usually after idling. the part stores were closed today so i didnt get to try anything. car is a 2002 with the 2200 and stock other then a cold air intake that has been there for a year, and a magnaflow catback that has been there for a few days. im thinking either the map sensor or both the map sensor and tps are in need of replacement. anyone???
Yeah it very well could be the map sensor i know on my 2200 it does the same thing only when it rains out... step on the gas and it's slugish. I've yet to replace mine but i've seen a few posts like this and alot of the responses are "replace map sensor". But my guess would be try that first.
thanks. until she warms up and with the map sensor unplugged the car is as it normally would be, once it warms up she becomes very hesitant and wants to shut off unless i keep it above 2000rpms...
