Car wont start

parked the car friday and today when i tried starting it, it wouldnt start.

however it did start 1x and run for about 10 seconds then died.

i tried swapping icm/coil packs/plugs. also when cranking the car my fuel pressure gauge doesnt even move. i do hear the pump hum when i turn the key forward without starting it.

i did read the other posts somewhat relating to this issue as well and still am stumped

any help is greatly appreciated

could it still be the passlock feature being enabled even if the light doesnt flash?

after further reading it says to"

00-05 J-car

1. Turn ON the igniton, with the engine OFF.

2. Attempt to start the engine, then release the key to ON (vehicle will not start).

3. Observe the SECURITY telltale, it will be flashing. After approximately 10 minutes the telltale will turn OFF.

4. Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds.

5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 two more times for a total of 3 cycles/30 minutes. The vehicle is now ready to relearn the PASSlock Sensor Data Code and/or passwords, on the next ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK.

IMPORTANT: The vehicle learns the PASSlock Sensor Data Code and/or password on the next ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK. You MUST turn the ignition OFF before attempting to start the vehicle.

6. Start the engine. The vehicle has now learned the PASSlock Sensor Data Code and/or password.

7. With a scan tool, clear any DTCs if needed. History DTCs will clear themselves after 100 ignition cycles

if your security light is on then it will just shut off the injectors...

and a humm doesnt always mean that it is actually pumping....

even if it shut the injectors off then i should still get pressure on my fuel rail gauge due to the fpr or am i mistaken?
