Weird stalling problem

1999 Cavalier RS 2200 motor w/4spd automatic

Only mods are a CAI and pacesetter header, both have been on for a couple years.

Car runs fine normally, then once it warms up to normal operating temperature (180-190 or so) everytime I make a right turn if I let off the gas it stalls out. Doesn't do it when I turn left and hasn't thrown a CEL yet. Anyone have a clue what might be it's problem? I used the search feature to no avail btw. It's getting beyond aggravating to dangerous since the power steering goes bye-bye mid-turn.

Thanks.

I had a problem similar to that. Its deals with your front suspension. on my car, my left axle was leaking power sterring fluid, and needed some tie rods and bushings. So get your suspension check out. Because the stalling is from too much drag. I haven't had that problem anymore.

any noises?? is the ps pump straining when turning?? especially right??

could be a problem in the rack causing a tight spot, which can strain the ps pump, which can stall the car.

also, make sure there are no wires loose around the wheel well, and that all inner fenders are in place. I believe the computer is in the wheel well in the 95-99 as well as 00-02 (except lss).

sounds like an odd problem, that may or may not be related to you turning....but i would start there.
