well i got my oil changed yesterday and i was watching the jack tard do it and he was pulling the clip of my coil pack to move the wire for some reason so i stopped him and told him to put it back on it wasn't nessacary to unplug to move the wire for the oil filer.....well everything is changed car starts runs good then about 50 miles later the damn thing is running like crap!!!! sounds just like a subaru (turbo gurgle) so im freakn pissed now because i dint know what the hell is going on in there!!! thers no knock from what i hear just bull@!#$ not normal raspy exhaust-----could it be timing, spark, balance shafts? idk i really need some info cause i cant touch the car or the shop that did it will not fix it...thx gg
checked all spark gaps to .45 all good no oil on plugs, but theres a ticking sound dont know if its the header will check when it cools down a lil....hoping its just the flange that might have come loose or whatever....this is just a crapy way to start the weekend......when im supposed to do some long drivn tonight.....sooo any help please
sounds to me like its runnin on 3 cylinders. Check all your injector clips and spark plug wires. mine sounded like that too because one of my injectors got unplugged somehow... oops...

OK SO I TOOK THE VALVE COVER OFF AND TO MY AMAZMENT I FIND PARTS JUST SITTING IN THE CORNER...WHAT PARTS I DONT KNOW LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING THAT KEEPS THE CAM NI PLACE AND OPENS THE EXHAUST VALVE....SO IF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT IT IS CALLED PLEASE FILL ME IN NO CAR SO I CANT GET TO THE STRORE.....LOOKS LIKE AN EASY FIX BUT WHO KNOWS HOPE IT DIDNT FUG NE THING UP..............HELP PLEASE CAR SHOW AND TRACK NIGHT TONIGHT AND I NEED TO GO!@!!!!!!!
Yeah, you need to post some pictures or at least describe the thing better. There were actualy loose parts just sitting in your head assembly? Thats not good.
From the poor description im going to guess its a rocker arm.
hydrolic rockers not just one but 3..one jammed another...easy fix just scary to see loose parts scatered in the assebley....all fixed and running like a champ agian!!!!
