AC condenser removal

Whats all involved in taking out the condenser? I tried recharging my system and a big shot of refrigerant came from the radiator area. I can pick up a good one for 20 bucks, I just need to get it in there. What seals do i need to get and would the chevy dealer have em?

Acctually just did this on my 02 cavy, its not to hard but i already had the bumper and stuff off so it was a breeze to get to. there's only two bolts that hold the condenser to the radiator near the bottom, and the the two nuts holding the line together. Then it just slides right up. The only prob you might run into is that i think you need to take off the bracket that holds the hood latch off. theres two bolts at the bottom and two on top. Just move it enought to slide out the condenser. any other quesions just ask.

horsepower is the force that determines at what speed you hit the wall, torque is the force that determines how far you take the wall with you after you hit it.

do you have to disengage the air bags since the sensor is just right here? if so how do you?

Your also going to need a new receiver/dryer. Chances are the desiccant is contaminated. Its always good practice to replace the receive/dryer whenever you open up the A/C system. It helps avoid future problems.
