Okay. well i know my car pulls codes because i took it to autozone and they pulled a Camshaft position sensor code.
Only problem i have is that my check engine light is not lit up. People i talk to said that car dealers cut the wire so you dont know the light is on. How do i know if its a cut wire or an out bulb? Is there a ez way to cut the wires. If so i figure i should be able to fix the wire. If anyone knows of a wiring diagram i can get for this or had any ideas let me know.

when i bought my 96 sunfire gt the guy that had it before me pulled the cluster apart and stuffed a piece of foam in the hole so the cel wouldnt show. someone may have done the same to you.

there is no wire to cut on ours, so far as i know, the signal for the light is sent on the serial data wire. but yeah,sounds like a previous owner electric taped your light.
