Series of clicks coming from throttle body?

When I turn the ignition off on the ld9, I hear a series of clicks that sounds like its coming from the throttle body. Anyone have any similar problems? I searched and fund one thread where someone described similar problem, but it was never resolved. Thanks!

ive never experienced the clicking issue... so i wouldnt know where to begin ... but i'll tell you everything you want to know about the TB.

here is what is attached to the tb... First there's the TPS (Throttle position sensor), and the IAC (idle Air Control) sensor. Also near the TB but connected to the Intake Manifold is the MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor. Also connected to the TB is the brake booster hose, and two vaccum lines. Finally attached to the TB is the Cruise Cable and the Throttle cable.

now directly after the TB is the intake manifold, followed by the head where the air immedately hits the valves. Directly before the TB is the noise baffle box which has a hose that runs to the Oil/Air Separator (which is located on the front of the block).

i'm pretty sure the iac is a valve, and not a sensor, at least it is on my car. it controls the engine idle speed by limiting the amount of air the engine gets. it's motorized and on throttle body... try unplugging it just before you shut the car off and then see if you still hear it. it could be faulty, or maybe you're just hearing it work. or it's something else, but it's worth a try i guess.

it would be the IAC, which acts as a valve. is the car running abnormally? is the idle off? if not, the IAC could still be okay.
