just bought another j,it has some issues need opinion

alright i just went and bought a 2000 z24, the car starts right up and everything but it is having some issues...When you start it, it sounds like a little 50cc dirt bike thats hitting the rev limiter..The car is also running very rich, but not idling high...My buddy was told that it could possibly be a vacuum line for the fuel pressure regulator, or maybe the regulator itself....I haven't had the time to look @ it, but I was wondering if it could be due to the coil packs or something...What do you guys think?

ok i kno that the topic has came up alot.. but how hard is it to swap a 96 2200 or 2.2 for the 2.2 eco.. and how much price wise am i looking at paying?it has an 5 spd isuzu tranny

first off if you are buying a 2.4 LD9 when you buy the 2000 Z24 so you would not be able to swap......unless you look up the search I'm sure you will find out how to put the eco in there. Some things you could try for the vehicle not to run rich is due general maintenance, for example fuel filter, injectors, sparkplugs, oil change, etc.....butsearching wil help you out alot
