For a few weeks now my car has started fine ['96 sunfire GT w/ 174k :O] but every once in a while it wouldn't turn over, it just made a weird HUMM noise.
Now it either turns over fine and won't start, or just does the humming noise and won't turn over.
The "anti theft" light is on in my dash and I think this is stopping my car from starting. How can I fix this?
I think if i remove the anti theft thing it'll start right up, but i dunno. I also have no idea what the humming starter noise is all about. When my truck starter went out it just clicked, but my car hums, and still turns over sometimes too, so i dont think the starter is out.
WTF is going on guys, please help.
