Ok i have a 98 Sunfire GLS and the motor went in it, so i bought a 97 cavalier motor to put in it because ive been told numerous times that all i would have to do is change the intake manifold and it should work fine, but the intake manifold from my sunfire engine wont fit onto the cavalier head.. both of the motors are 2.2's. Does anybody know if the heads between the 2 motors are interchangeable or not? Because thats the only thing i can think of that would solve my problem.

the heads are not easily interchangeable. kick whomever told you this square in the nuts. its much MUCH easier to swap the whole engine than to swap the heads on those engines.
