I have a 04 ecotec cavalier my problem is the crusie control stopped working and i do alot of highway driving, and can't seam to find anything or even know where to look any help would be greatly apperciated.. Thanks in advanced.

I don't have cruise on my cavi, but I'm guessing there's a fuse. Open the driver's side door, and to the left of the steering wheel theres a panel (it's covered by the door when said door is closed). Take off the little removable panel, and check the fuse labeled cruise (if there is one). Anyways, anytime something at all electrical stops working, the fuse panel is the first palce to look.

I did check the fuse i know that much. and it was fine even replaced the headlight ,turn signal , cruise switch. and didn't work . where do i start to look for this problem.

Just guessing, you might check that all 3 rear stop lights work, especially the center high mounted stop lamp. The factory 94-96 Impala SS center stop lamp was "tied" into the cruise control. When that lamp burned out, the cruise would not work.

Have you checked the plastic cable for the cruise? Its very thin and could have broke.

Well after bamging my head against the brick wall i found out what the problem was. My wife being nice went to the auto parts store after she got stopped for a blowen taillight. This is where it gets to be funny the guy told her she needs to get the LED bulbs since the factory installed it. So not knowing any better she paid the 14 bucks and the guy installed them. Well the dumb bulbs were the whole cause of my cruise being knocked out changed them on easter sunday and it worked fine. Wow That guy when I see HIM I AM GOING TO KICK HIM SQUARE IN THE NUTS, SO WE DON'T HAVE ANYMORE RETARDS REPRODUCING RETARDS.
