cruise not working

Just like the title says. i tried my cruise and it doesn;t work. Hve no idea if any suggestions as to how to approch this i would appricate it.

check your fuses. i ended up taking the fuse out from my cruise so i could use it for my radio cause it blew...when you take the fuse panel off it has a map on it.

taking the 2200 out of the cavy and throwing it into the sunfire, taking the 3100 out of my friends GrandAm and throwing it into the cavy. XD Definatly a work in process...

This may sound weird. But check where the cable attaches to the throttle body. Mine came loose one day and my cruise didnt work. I just put a small zip tie around it and havent had a problem since.

that's what i was thinking... used to happen on my girfriends beretta every now and then.

The cable coming loose thing happened to my buddy's sunfire too...

definitely check that out...

assuming you have a 2.4L, make sure the throttle cable is THREE threads away from being completely screwed in.
