someone put sugar in my gas tank, ive flush all lines, filter, tank, injectors, FPR etc, now car wont stay running,. it will only run for 10 secs max. and its REALLY choppy, it only wants to fire at W.O.T. however..... any suggestions?....I'm thinking the injectors are still gummed up and are sticking open
It's a 99 GT

I would replace everything instead of flushing it, that way i know that all of the sugar is out.

I would also kill the @!#$face who did it.

Ryan, is your engine timed correctly?

that would cost me more than the car is worth, i just got a 96 GT , whole car, runs great, but the front left axle , subframe is busted and bent from a pole, im thinking i might just swap the good stuff from my 99 onto it, it's in better shape , will i have any problems putting a 99 control arm, CV, or possible subframe on a 96?, i know the injectors are different and i couldnt put them in mine

Why don't you transfer the fuel system parts from the 96 to the 99? Seems like it should be less of a hassle. Assuming they both have the same engine.

suar in the tank wont really do much. drain the tank, change the filter, seafoam your engine. boom. taken care of.

The sugar will not make it to the injectors. Sugar does not dissolve in gasoline like it does in water. Remove the filter, put a pan under the hose, run the fuel pump into the pan until the sugar is out. Install a new filter. Then put the pan above fuel tank level (ie: on your trunk lid) and use a hose to siphon the gas back into your tank, minus the sugar of course (which should be settled at the bottom).

Do our cars have in tank screens or filters that would catch sugar? If so, you'll end up having to drop the tank.
