Hey guys my friend has an '03 Sunfire its got around 120k miles on it and its got a random misfire right now. We have replaced the spark plugs, one of the #1 looked really worn out then the rest, it does the same thing. Apparently sparks flew out after he installed them he could see them in the back of the car as he drove. I scanned the code P300 (random misfire). I listened to the injectors they tick like they are supposed to and the engine drives and runs just shakes and there is no power. There is also a really bad gas smell when it runs. Any help is appreciated...
can anyone help me? I was thinking it might be the ICM more than likely.....
