first off thats a harness to ur electical system. 2nd all the motor would be nearest to the wipers common sence. any way find ur wiper arms at the bottom near the hood u will see two black caps these pop off revealing bolts remove the bolts and wiggle the arms off.(if this is the first time it may be alittle tough).helps if the hood is open. next after they are off u see a huge plastic panel going form left to right and the arms were coming out off. this is the wiper cowl it is held in by a few black pin style clips. after removal the panel will become loose and there for able to move. a little wiggleing and it comes off revealing the rest of the wiper system and in there is a rail setup connected to a big box thats ur motor to the wipers.

ok 1 the dealer told me to go to a certain junkyard to get the same exact part that they would sell me, ok, this is the wrong part, 2 already tried autozone they are the ones who gave me the wrong stuff in the first place and thats the only thing they have for an 03, pepboys, i dont have around cleveland, and junkyard, ya would be ideal if i knew exactly whats up, because for some reason my wiper motor isnt an 03 motor, and its not an 02, so i have no idea if anyone else has any problems...

all i know is it snowed real bad today and i didnt drive to work i had to get a ride...
its bull@!#$ that i have to call people asking for a ride because autozone/dealer cant give me what i need...

i think im just @!#$

You need a wiper arm puller to remove the wiper arms

Why are you trying to replace the wiper motor, if you dont have a clue what it looks like

well unfortunatly at the time i had no clue, but now i have a 100% clue about my wiper motor, and i didnt need a wiper puller tool, i just used my strength and a screwdriver to help pop them out, the problem im having now is it seems that a 03 cav wiper motor doesnt fit mine, so im asking this, does it matter that i have an 03 ls sport, considering sometimes car companies like to change the design on different models of cars?

if could be the problem, since both the first design and second design of the wiper motors arent matching mine, i'm thinking more of this being the issue...
