I connected my Sun tach without buying any sort of adapter, with the 2.2, its a white wire coming from the ignition module that needs to be tapped. I think there are 2 whites, though. One of the plugs on the ICM has 6 pins. It should be the uppermost white one on the 6-pin connector.
