Car is a '04 Cavalier 2-Dr.

So I need to replace a part thats in my driver's side door panel that I lost when installing new side-view mirrors. It was brass in color and seemed to help hold the door panel to the sheet-metal. It had clamps on both ends to help secure it to each piece.

My door is rattling like crazy since I lost this thing. Please help.

is it the clip that helps hold the door panel to the widow sill? there is a clamp that is attached to the plastic door panel and clips over top of the metal of the window sill.

Thats it. I got back from the dealer a few minutes ago and the mechanic and I think we got the right part after looking at my passenger-side door. He won't charge me until we know if we got the right part though.
