The terminals on the battery read 12v even when the engine is on.
Checked at auto parts store and alternator is good.
Checked alternator/battery connections and they are fine.
The battery light came on initially, but after taking out fuse and putting it back in, the light never shows.
Why is not charging!!! Im just about to give up on my cavalier

HELP PLEASE
Giving up over something stupid like this?..Sounds like some bad wiring to me
any other ideas b4 I get on the car tomorrow?
Are there anyother symptoms besides the light? Slow cranking? Loud clicking w/ the engine turning over?
Well the link for the starter came out, but thats fixed now. Everything sounds normal, it cranks fast, no clicking noises or anything. Im stumped...
So everything is fine and the light popped on? If thats the case dont worry about it. The only thing that sounds iffy is that you said your getting 12 volts when the car is on, right? Normally it should be around 13-14 volts.
yes its only 12v thats why I know its not charging. Gonna put a HO on it tomorrow see what happens.
Actually the confusing thing here is that the charging light is now OFF, meaning the charging system should be fine, when it really isnt.
