passloc issues

hey my friends fire today doesnt want to start. he says that when he turns the key no trigger of the pump or anything. we belive it the passloc system. how do we get pass this. we left the car sit for a bit and nogo. gonna try disconnect the batt for a bit. other then that what can we do to try to bypass this and get it started. any help would be great.

the passlock cuts fuel pressure im pretty sure and its only engaged if you have changed the pcm, instrument cluster, or ignition switch. so unless youve done one of these changes recently its probably not the issue
also the theft light blinks if its a passlock issue.

Hello, it is my fire that is having the issue. I also want to add that it has an aftermarket alarm from Directed Electronics

Check one of the Maxifuses under the hood, I forgot what its labeled, Ign 1 or Ign 2. #1 on mine blew and everything else would turn on and crank, but the pump wouldnt turn on.

Hey everyone,
Found out what was wrong with it after I had the car towed to the dealership. they said there was no communication coming from the PCM to the computer basically nothing was working with each other. Took them about five hours to Diagnose the problem and all it turned out to be was the PCM needed to be removed from the car for a little bit so it would delete all of it's saved information in it and needed to be updated and because the PCM stopped communicating with everything else it went into Passlock mode shutting down the whole entire system... I guess the Passlock system does work good just a shame it happened when I needed the car the most go figure.
