I'm having a weird humming coming from my front end but it only happens when I'm driving straight and between 50-55mph and the sounds is indepentant of the rpms. Does this just sound like the start of a bearing? I've been racking my brain any help is appericated. thanks!
i would guess wheel bearing, but GENERALLY, not always, a wheel bearing will not make any noise when loading the bearing up. this means if you turn one way or they other, the humming noise will go away. the noise is also usually present when going straight.
