I just changed my valve cover gasket, spark plugs and plug wires, now my car wont start... I turn the key and it starts to crank, then it just stops. I even went and wasted $20 on a new set of wires in case the ones I had were defective somehow. Gaped all the plugs right just as the other 5 times I changed them, so im not sure what it could be, unless its something with valve cover but I dont understand why that would prevent car from starting... Also completely removed the plug wires and re-connected them just as the haynes manual says. Car ran well before this, just needed maitenence. Can anyone tell me what to do to fix this?? Its way too cold to be walking everywhere!! Thanks!! Not sure if this would mean anything, but radio stayed on twice after i removed key (aftermarket dvd)...
Sorry, forgot to post, I'm getting no codes either and 1998 3spd if that makes difference.
did you possibly unhook/cut any of the sensor wires around the V/C ignition coil when in there? Are you getting spark to the plugs?

Checked all the wires and everything is fine... It is not getting spark for some reason, is there some place i can take the ignition control module to get it tested, advance auto perhaps?
