Ok so this is whats happening, my drivers side highbeam doesn't work, i unwrapped the entire headlight harness, no broken wires, i checked all the fuses, they checked out, i traded bulbs, they work on the passenger side but not the other. I also have no DRL's. So could a bad relay cause these problems or is there something else i should check. thanks in advance
try your fuse box in the cab thats what mine was one of the fuses that my cd player power wire spliced into widened the terminal and caused a short. also it could be the drls or the multifunction switch which is the left stalk that controls the turn signal headlights and cruise
yup all the fuses r good, everything works, just not the drivers side highbeam , could the multifunction cause that, i'll check some stuff tho, thanks bud
i dont know about the older cavaliers and sunfires but do you use 2 different bulbs for high and low or just one single bulb thats a dual bulb. also yes the multifunction switch can cause that. but check the wiring under the battery try and make sure there arent any coroted wires
