I have a 96 sunfire with the 2.2 and every now and then, it bucks and misses. Right now it doesnt have a thermostat, but when i put one in it, it does it twice as bad and pretty much wont stop bucking and missing. does anyone know why it is doing that. Oh btw, i done put new plugs, wires, coils, fuel filter,and when i tried the thermostat it was new 2, so if anyone has any sugestions, i would appreciate it. thx.

does it dies at normal temperature or stalls at normal temperature?
at what speed or gear does the problem occurs or comes up?

i can drive it and it seems like it starts in like 3rd gear, it normally runs cold cuz it has no thermostat and the fan is always running. and when it runs with no thermostat it really doesnt do it , just every now and then. but when i put the thermostat back in, it runs ok for a few mins and then it just starts missing and kinda putting around, wont really go very good and kinda just throws you in your seat. acts like its missing and losing power bad. i just replaced the temp sensor and it didnt help, plus i done changed the plugs, wires and the coil packs, and the fuel filter, i cant figure out what it is.

oh btw, it doesnt stall no matter what i do, sometimes when i come up to a light it will kinda rev up and then back down but nothing that bad.
