k, i have a 2000 z24 and lately the turn signals and brake lights have beingoing out and then working again. If i go bake to there and jiggle the light socket they come on for a while then they just sop working again. I check the fuse and its fine, the wiring seems to be fine. Also the cruise control doest work when the brake and turn signals are out. Could it be the thar there a short or just the turn signal and light switch going bad? I know its not the bulbs, ive replaced them with different like 3 different sets. I need to get them fixed as soon as possible cause im on the road alot and all the shops round here are closed till monday. So if any one has any imput on what it is or could be that would be of great help to me, thanks.

sounds like there is short/corrosion in the wiring for your rear lights. pull the bulbs and see if the wires are loose or if there is corrosion at the connector

Might try spraying brake cleaner into the socket and clean out the factory gunk in there.

if you clean them out, make sure to use some electrical grease...(i cant think of the actual name right now). but it will help make a solid connection.

if that doesnt work, i would say the sockets are shot, and you may have to replace them.
