when ever i start it up in the morning when its really cold it sometimes wont start up on first try and when i put the key in my rpm needle jumps up and down like crazy lights flash and i get this wierd buzzing sound for a little bit and then it stops anyone know whats going on?
I know it sounds dumb but u ither have a bad ground on the battery or block or yur battery is @!#$ting out do to the cold. Clean terminals on battery and or try a diffrent battery.
cool, my brother just got NGK plugs and wires and a new battery on his honda and it seemed more alive when he did that and the car starts up instantly on it would this do the same for my car? also is optima a real good battery? i was hoping to get one of the red tops from them.
buzzing sound is likely the fuel pump. it runs for a couple seconds if you just turn the key to the run postition with the engine off. its normal as far as i know
yea, ive run a optima red top for a while, there great in the cold. ive since moved up to a yellow top, but i have a loud system so it was somewhat necessary. but i think there worth every penny
