ok I just bought a 98 sunfire vert and the owner had taken off the ac compressor and installed a shorter belt, but now the blower motor no longer functions. All the fuses are good, relays are good and the resistor pack is good. if tou start the car and hold the switch in the test light area (halfway between start and run)the blower will work at what ever speed it is set at. but if you let the switch go back to the run position it will stop. any one have any ideas?
Just a shot in the dark but have you checked the circuit to see if it is getting power when the car is running?
