Need to find the best way to remove the lighter socket on my 2002 Cavalier. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

which one? are you talking about removing it for good? or taking it out to fix something? The one in the dash you will have to take off the dash pad and bezel (maybe on the bezel)
The one on the console just take the 4 bolts out of the console.

About the lighter socket, it's the one in the dash. Was wondering if by any chance it would come out the front without removing the top of the dash and the front panel.
