Hello, just wondering if anyone could gimme any sort of guid for removal of a tb from an Ecotec. From a quick look I see four bolts, but what about the throttle cable and black plastic piece it's attached to etc.? If anyone could do that I'd appreciate it. Thank you.
the throttle cable should just pop right off the throttle body, then unbolt those bolts, disconnect any vacuum lines and elevtrical connections, and that should be about it. Dunno if you have cruise, but that cable should just pop off too.
Make sure you know which vacume line goes where, same for the cables. If you hook them back up wrong you'll be in for more troubles.
