leaking around the fuel injector

I have a 97 Cavalier with the 2.2 and I have gas leaking out from around my injector. I replaced the Oring a couple weeks back and it did alright until today. I get in the car and Crank it up and I smell gas. I look under the hood and see that the SAme injector is leaking again. What is going on? Do I need to replace the injectore it self or the intake manifold?

I had the same problem - when I changed the seal and did not fix it, replacing the injector the trick. I was able to buy just one, and it came with its own new seals.

Well I have to ask did you also replace the seal with it. It is the thin plactic ring that is about 3-4cm long... Also you can bend the clips to help keep it tight and down. Good luck with everything, but if you just do the injector it should come with all new everything. So if you don't want to do it again just get the full injector.

Dunno if it would help you any, but dealer o'rings are best, and the price difference isn't all that much.
