My 2001 2.2 auto Sunfire has 125k miles -- what should I watch for??

I've had the car since 25k miles in 2003 and used it for commuting (50 miles each way) into the city -- sometimes in traffic, but mostly not due to the hours I work. The car's not to pretty to look (no rust or anything, but some dents) at but it has been mechanically great for the last 100k miles. The car has been paid for for a while too so I want it to last as long as possible!

Here's my service record thus far:

Oil Change - every 3000-4000 miles
All new brakes - 90,000 miles
Second set of tires (80k mile tires) - 110,000 miles
New battery - 115,000 miles
Fuel system cleaning, tune up, coolnt system flush, replaced ignition wires - 125,000 miles

Outside of a few small things (air conditioning/heat not working on the lower 2 settings sometimes) everything still works great on the car...it's got manual windows so I don't have to worry about the motors crapping out! The tranny works great, the car doesn't leak or burn anything....

So I guess the point of this whole post is: with 125k miles what do I need to do maintenance-wise that I haven't already done? I don't have a manual with a service schedule or anything so I'm not really sure what else I need to pay attention to...I was thinking about replcing the belt next and maybe having an alignment done?

Thanks a lot guys!
Chris

clean the throttle body
replace the fuel filter
check the axles, ball joints, etc.

Actually I forgot to mention that I've replaced the Fuel Filter body and cleaned the throttle at 125,000 miles also

I'm not sure about how to approach the axels and ball joints though -- unfortunately I don't have the tools or experience to do my own work so how much does something like that usually cost to have looked at/worked on?

it's just a visual inspection... making sure the dust boots on the axles are good and not cracked open (which will cause premature CV joint failure), making sure the dust boot on the lower ball joint and tie rod ends are not busted either.

Checking the serpentine belt isn't a bad idea. Mine was worn enough at 112k to justify a new one. As for an alignment, you will probably notice if you need one. If the car pulls or pulls under braking, steering is off or tires are wearing unevenly you should look into it.

Grease the tierod ends, and you didn't mention changing the plugs unless that was included in your tuneup, same thing with the air filter.
