Hey all,
I was driving today on the highway and gradually the brake petal got stiffer and stiffer. Almost like when you have the car turned off and you press the petal a few times.
Suggestions?

Maybe air in your brake system somewhere? Bleed the system and see what happens. I'm far from being a mechanic, but its somewhere to start.

check the vac hose that goes to the brake booster. it that's leaking it wont be assisting the braking properly
Thanks that what I have been thinking. Just figured I woul see what you guys were thinking.

Air in your brakes causes a soft, spongy, and/or low pedal. Not a stiff pedal.
Air in your lines are going to have a softer feel and if your vac lines are cracked or broken then it is going to take more to apply the brakes. If you have air in your brake lines then the more you press them the stiffer they become. You might have air in your lines and you became accustomed to a softer brake feeling and with pumping the brakes could give you a stiffer feeling but this would and should be the normal feel of the brakes.
