Is my fuel pump bad? 65psi!
Thursday, November 29, 2007 10:20 AM
I measured it at the filter, and got 65psi. I thought it was supposed to be 45. I also heard it's supposed to be higher then 100 coming straight off the pump. Any input?

the pressure would be the same anywhere you tested it. how did you test it at the filter? and why? were you having any problems. did you measure it with just the fuel pump primed?
in the service manual it says max psi is 58.

yeah my car won't start. i've narrowed it down to a fuel issue. i just used adaptor fittings to plug the gauge into the filter. turned the key on and got my reading
