ok so i think i have a broken motor mount in my 2001 z the motor shakes more than normal so how do i find out which on it could be the car was involved in a frontal crash doing about 15 any pointers would be greatful thanks all

I think 2.4 motors shake as they aged.
do a carfax just to see if anything was reported

i think what he was saying is that he WAS in 15mph crash and now it shakes more.........its quite possible you broke a mount. if you dont know where they are to check em, then take it somewhere and have them check it.

is the bushings cracked and all tore up, if yes theres your broken mount

ok im gonna bring this back from the dead. so the upper mount is broke the one near the radiator overflow bottle. i can easliy move the whole engine with ine hand and the top mount moves about an inch or so. My 99 z i tried the same and it did not move. so should i get a poly mount for it or should i go to the local yard and just pull on out of another car.

get the poly insert or the replacement from TTR. get the poly dogbone while youre at it. brand new from the factory they are crap mounts anyway

If you wana deal with the vibes from the poly go ahead and do that, they are a good mod to do anyways.

We sell each mount seperate, as some do not have the $ to do all at one time.
