So as i said in a previous thread the plastic piece that connects to the back of my headlight bulb has melted like four freaking times.... Now sometimes when i turn my headlights on my DRL's stay on instead of my headlights so i have to flash my brights a few times to get my actual headlights to come on!
And sometimes not all the time after i do that my service light comes on then when i switch it back to my drls they wont come on
Also i dunno if this is related but sometimes my gas gauge wont work at all and my rpm meter shows like way high rpm readings and the same thing with my temp gauge

Honestly, sounds like you have one mean electrical short. I would say take that to a dealer or an electrical specialist. Just my thoughts, cause as for trouble shooting it, it already seems widespread.
it may be the multifunction switch is what everyone has been telling me (the post of headlight problem i posted) but the gauges mine do that do but its only when its very cold out and it sits outside all night. the guages stick and i have a 5 spd so i just crank the ignition with the clutch disonguaged and repeat as needed till the needles go where they need to.
There is a TSB on this problem, i think there was a recall on the rear light too, my dads 03 had that problem, it was a short, and the dealer fixed it.
whats a tsb? Ya my car had a recall on the rear light too before i got it

TSB = Tech Service Bulletin
Its a bulletin that the manufacture sends out to dealerships when the know they fu**ed something up. It tells the technicians what the problem is, how to check to make sure its the problem, and how to fix it. Im not sure if your local garage recives them or not.
